After talking to Danny, another homebrewer (DeeperRoots Brewing) about changing up our brewing. I have decided to brew some high ABV beers for long term storage. I am calling these my "Reserve Series"
They will be "one off" brews so I can get a little nuts with them. Like adding apples and spices to my stouts. Cinnamon and allspice to my Belgian's etc. The goal of this project is to have a great quality beer that will take the place of wine at my dinner table. The 1st recipe will be the Barley wine that I intended to brew last month. The recipe is here. I know it is not to extreme but I feel it is a great fit to start off the series. I promise the next batch will be a little more "fun" for me.
